Welcome! Connect in Northwest Austin!

Posted by Gateway Northwest Communications

Whether you’re single or married, with kids or without, we’d love to connect so we can help you find a community to grow in and a cause to serve. Northwest Austin, to Gateway, extends from the Arboretum and Wells Branch north on 183 past Milwood to Avery Ranch as well as from West Anderson Mill out 620 towards the lake past Steiner Ranch and onto Lakeway.

Join this group to get updates and info about what's happening near you!

Find a Community to Grow In

If you’re new to Gateway or just wanting to get connected with others better, checking out a Network is the best place to start!  We’re convinced doing church where you do life is the way to go, and a Network is a group of 30-75 people who gather together regularly to grow spiritually and serve needs in their community.

Take a look at our Northwest Austin Networks to see which one is where you do life, and join that particular group to get involved.  If there doesn’t seem to be one that fits you, let us know.  Maybe you can help us get a one started in your area.

Find a Cause to Serve
Though all our Networks look to serve needs in their specific communities, there are also Causes we rally all together to serve as Gateway Northwest.  Check out our Northwest Austin Causes to see which one you have a passion for, and join that group to stay in the loop of how you can serve.

If you prefer email as you're way to stay in the Loop with what's going on, there are 2 ways you can join our email list to get periodic communications regarding Gateway Northwest:

Fall Fest - Saturday, Nov 19

Posted by Gateway Northwest Communications

Video Highlights from the Fall Harvest Fest.  Way to share your harvest with those in need for the holidays NW Austin!!!

Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and did you know that last year our food pantry provided turkeys and trimmings for nearly 100 families?!?!  That is A LOT of food!  This year the NW Networks are joining forces to stock the pantry for Harvest Fest.

Saturday, November 19th from 2-4PM at Gateway's McNeil Campus, we're holding a festival you're invited to along with neighbors, friends, co-workers, etc., and we're asking everyone to each bring 2 items to the pantry.  This will be a FUN time in a relaxed environment!  We'll have a band playing, tours of the food pantry, activities for kids, and a cake walk!

GOT WOO?

What is Woo? It's when you love the challenge of meeting new people and winning them over. You derive satisfaction from breaking the ice and making a connection with another person.

If this describes you then I have a great volunteer opportunity for you! We are going to be launching the Geo Cafe at Gateway Church on September 11th and we are looking for volunteers with WOO to be there to greet new people and invite them into all the great activities we have going on in the Northwest Geo! We are looking for volunteers for two time slots:
10:30am to 11:00am and 12:00pm to 12:30pm.

If this sounds like woo, I mean you please email me at: pat_illingworth@gatewaychurch.com
